  • You CANNOT do good content management without an experienced systems manager/team to support the content team.
  • After the system has been built you will require persons who have the following skills to manage the content of the digital repository.
  • Recently graduated librarians who are naturally digitally literate are the best candidates for further training in open digital scholarly communications publishing systems.

Example Job Advertisement

The (name of institution) is seeking candidates to fill the positions of director, managers and librarians for the open scholarly communications office.

The candidates should have at least 2 years experience and supply accreditation documentation and an academic publishing history, where applicable.
