Introduction
Since DSpace version 1.8.X. and greater, the search indexes are delivered via the "Discovery" facility using the SOLR service. The Discovery Module enables faceted searching & browsing for your repository. DSpace Discovery offers very powerful browse and search configurations that were only possible with code customization in the past.
Requirements
Before attempting setup please make sure the following are correct:
For DSpace 4.X
For DSpace 3.X
For DSpace 1.8.X
Tips
To check configuration, run the following:
/home/dspace/bin/dspace dsrun org.dspace.discovery.configuration.DiscoveryConfigurationService
