Introduction

Since DSpace version 1.8.X. and greater, the search indexes are delivered via the "Discovery" facility using the SOLR service.

Requirements

Before attempting setup please make sure the following are correct:

  1. Tomcat is listening on TCP port 80.
  2. The SOLR webapp is correctly published.

For DSpace 4.X

For DSpace 3.X

For DSpace 1.8.X

Tips

To check configuration, run the following:

/home/dspace/bin/dspace dsrun org.dspace.discovery.configuration.DiscoveryConfigurationService
