Back to Install Ubuntu - Step 3

Select the following for installation:

  • OpenSSH server
  • PostgreSQL database
  • Tomcat Java server

Bulb.png Note: Tomcat 8 on Ubuntu 16.04

Please note that there have been reports of bugs in the version of Tomcat 8 that is distributed in the 16.04 repositories. If you come across these bugs, you may which to install Tomcat manually: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-apache-tomcat-8-on-ubuntu-16-04
