Purpose of the library kiosks

The kiosks allow for the following:

1. Free access to the online library e-databases and e-journals.
2. Access to the online library book catalogs.
3. The use of a virus free operating system called Ubuntu with a Windows 7 theme.
4. Microsoft OFFICE document viewing and printing.
5. No Microsoft OFFICE document editing is supported.
6. Please use a Windows login computer in the Learning Commons or Research Commons in the library or go to an RGA if you want to do Microsoft OFFICE document editing.
7. All documents and files created during your work session on the computer are removed from the computer when you logout.
