Assumptions

The following is assumed.

• The library is the responsible publisher and therefore employs and trains the required personnel.
• The central IT department provides internet infrastructure and data center support.

Cost per item download facilitated (CPD)

To be able to make comparions with other library publishing systems and to provide a single simple metric, cost per item downloaded (CPD) will be calculated.
