  • If you cannot View your documents, open your Inetkey and be sure to use Mozilla Firefox.



Turnitin

Turnitin is a tool to check the originality of your written work and it will provide guidelines where necessary to you regarding where and how you can improve it. Students upload assignments onto the Turnitin database where the papers are compared with billions of pages on the internet. The results are returned in the form of an Originality Report that gives clear explanations of possible plagiarism.

  • Stellenbosch University students have access to Turnitin via http://learn.sun.ac.za; be sure to use Mozilla Firefox and open your Inetkey.

Print Digital Receipt

  • To print a digital receipt from Turnitin, click on Similarity in Turnitin.
  • When the document opens, look at the bottom left for the Printer icon.
  • Click on the Printer icon, and choose the second option, that is the Full Plagerism Report. (At the end the %percentages will show for plagerism).
  • To view a Similarity report on Turnitin, students must open their inetkey, otherwise it will just show (document loading) all the time and students will not be able to view the document on the Turnitin website..
