SUNScholar/Versioning

Please note: This feature was released with DSpace version 3.2 and therefore not fully tried and tested.

You apply this feature at your own risk.

Step 1 - Enable versioning with the XMLUI

Edit the following file:

nano /home/dspace/source/dspace/config/xmlui.xconf

And enable versioning for the XMLUI. See example below.

Step 2 - Setup permissions

Edit the following file:

nano /home/dspace/source/dspace/config/modules/versioning.cfg

And enable permissions. See example below.

item.history.view.admin=false

Step 3 - Rebuild DSpace

Customisation

Edit the following files to customise versioning.

nano /home/dspace/source/dspace/config/spring/api/versioning-service.xml

nano /home/dspace/source/dspace/config/spring/api/identifier-service.xml
