Step 3. Installation

It is fairly easy to install the Ubuntu 10.04 LTS server software.

However it is good practice to develop installation skills on a test server before doing a production server installation.

Below are screenshots of the most parts of the installation.

• Use the "TAB" key and arrow keys to move between items.
• Use the "SPACE" key to select items.
• Use the "ENTER" key to activate buttons.

Hostname	Hostname setup. Type in the hostname of the server. Please take note of hostname selection in Step 2
Disk Partitioning	Partition setup. Select manual. Please take note of partition sizing in Step 1 And view the following guide: http://www.basicconfig.com/manual_partition_album
DSpace User	Enter full name of "DSpace User"
DSpace User	Enter username of dspace
DSpace User	Enter "dspace" user password.
DSpace User	Confirm "dspace" user password.
Install Software	Select the following for installation: OpenSSH server PostgreSQL database Tomcat Java server
