Step 2. Get DSpace

Download the source code tarball (*.src-release.tar.gz) and then upload the code tarball to the dspace user home folder (/home/dspace) on the repository server. The DSpace source code can be downloaded from the following website;

  • Stellenbosch University Library has decided not to install the latest versions of DSpace when they are released because we do not employ a fulltime Java programmer, therefore we stay one version behind the latest version.
