- Expert with metadata standards for academic publishing.
- Professional understanding of web 2.0 communication technologies.
- Professional understanding of digital repository systems management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with DSpace software.
- Familiarity with desktop computer operations.
- Familiarity with digital object formats and identifiers.
- Familiarity with digitisation technologies.
- Familiarity with the operations of the internet and how to use it securely.
Managers
- Bachelors degree in library science.
- Major or Masters in "digital academic repository management".
- Expert understanding of digital repository management.
- Expert with open access academic publishing principles.
- Expert with open access publishing licences and practices.
- Expert with metadata standards for academic publishing.
